Wendy Hoyt, PhD
Dr. Hoyt received her Masters and Doctorate degrees in Counseling Psychology from Colorado State University. She has significant experience working with adults, adolescents and their families in residential, inpatient and outpatient settings, treating a variety of psychological issues. As an eating disorder specialist, she has conducted research and provided numerous presentations regarding eating disorders, self-harm and related behaviors. In addition, she has served as Director of the Adolescent Residential Eating Disorders Program at the River Centre Clinic and Staff Psychologist at both Avalon Hills Residential Eating Disorders Program and Center for Change Eating Disorder Treatment Program. Dr. Hoyt is adjunct faculty with the University of Utah Clinical Psychology Department and provides training to doctoral level graduate students from the department. Dr. Hoyt is affiliated with the following professional organizations: American Psychological Association, Academy of Eating Disorders and Utah Psychological Association.
